The Sydney WorldPride official program festival program is out now, and it includes over 300 events, with international pop superstar Charli XCX joining the line-up of stars performing at Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert at The Domain on Friday, 24 February 2023.

Our WorldPride will be absolutely huge and the first WorldPride in the Southern Hemisphere. Charli XCX will be performing alongside the fabulous Jessica Mauboy and everyone's favourite diva Kylie Minogue at the official Opening Concer, which will be hosted by Courtney Act and Casey Donovan.
Kelly Rowland has also been confirmed to headline Domain Dance Party, an open-air dance event curated by DJ Dan Slater. An incredible line-up of local and international DJs has also been confirmed, including DJ Suri and Isis Muretech. Rowland will perform a full vocal set especially for Sydney WorldPride.
The Sydney WorldPride festival is the largest LGBTQIA+ event ever held in the region, with 17 days of activities spanning 30 Official major events, 68 curated WorldPride Arts experiences, 17 WorldPride Sports events and 192 Pride Amplified community events.
Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert

Special guest performance by Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX and Jessica Mauboy With stars both overhead and onstage, join us at The Domain for the official Opening Concert of WorldPride 2023 as we welcome the world to Sydney.
Hosted by Casey Donovan and Courtney Act, featuring Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX and Jessica Mauboy, and broadcast live around the nation on ABC TV, Live and Proud will get the WorldPride party started!
The concert starts at 7pm, but your ticket gets you entry to The Domain from 3pm where you can enjoy the food and beverage offering on-site and pre-show entertainment in the company of your friends and family. When booking, choose between the general admission area where you can BYO picnic rug or, if you like to be closer to the action, consider reserved seating. This is the global family reunion we’ve been waiting for.

Let's Kick off Sydney WorldPride in true Mardi Gras style – Fair Day! Roll up with your dog, your Nan and your neighbour as the Mardi Gras festivities begin at our all-day rainbow extravaganza in Victoria Park.
No matter which letters of the LGBTQIA+ community you represent, there is something for everyone at Fair Day. Taking you from day to night, this is one of the community’s most-loved events bringing over 200 retail, information and food stalls, sample giveaways and family-friendly picnic areas, with entertainment featuring Carla Wehbe, Mama de Leche, Penelope Pettigrew and The Buoys. The revered Doggywood pageant has had a glam makeover, plus you’ll experience music and live performances across multiple stages and dancefloors – as well as plenty of bars and food options.
Bondi Beach Party

Oh, so you wanted an icon? This is the ultimate Sydney experience. For one day only, the jewel of Sydney will become the city’s hottest club for 12,000 people. Set at the edge of Bondi Beach, you’ll need a lifesaver to recover from seven hours of fabulous partying with the global queer community.

Mardi Gras Sissy Ball

Witness the regal, the ravishing and the revolutionary battle it out at Sissy Ball. Who will take their 10s and who will get the chop? All will be unveiled as legendary houses from across the globe compete in Australia’s biggest vogue ball.
Amidst the harsh realities that the transgender community faces in Australia, vogue families were born across the country out of safety and necessity.
Sissy Ball was formed in 2019, to unite the scenes with Aotearoa and celebrate their survival by forging new realities with joy, embodiment and of course, fantasy.
Overcoming this darkness, this year we’re going global for WorldPride – bringing all the girls from around the world to claim the runway at the grand Sydney Town Hall.
Human Rights Conference

Coming along to the largest LGBTQIA+ Human Rights Conference ever to be held in the southern hemisphere. The Conference will be immersive and fast-paced, taking place in multiple spaces across three levels of Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC). The program will combine inspiring keynotes, panels and roundtables with interactive workshops, performances and facilitated networking events. This Conference will be an opportunity to help create a world that is safe, free and equal for everyone – no matter who we love, who we are or what sex characteristics we were born with.
