NewCTN started in June 2003 and now 7 years later has nearly 90 members who enjoy the social networking benefits.
CTN encourages members to become active in the groups' direction and the co-ordination of events. We convene regular group support meetings at a safe venue and have our more public social events include restaurant dinners, films nights, as well as frequenting Trans-friendly night-clubs.
We recommend accessing and encourage the addition of new and useful Links on all TransGender resources including websites, other Australian and International Support Groups as well as articles of interest (plus fiction) to all members of our diverse community.
The New Canberra Transgender Network (NewCTN) is the Canberra and region social and support group organised by and for all Transgendered persons including Intersexed, Trans-men, Trans-women and individuals who identify as Gender diverse, and our family members and friends.
