Colin Farrell Attends Gay Brother’s Reception |

 Colin Farrell and his son James attended Farell's brother Eamon's wedding reception yesterday in his homeland of Ireland. Eamon married his partner, Steven Mannion, in Vancouver earlier this year.
Farrell previously attended his brother's nuptials over the summer, where he served as best man since Ireland was yet to give gay marriage the thumbs up. "We have to get married abroad. It's absolutely terrible. We have to go somewhere legal, which narrows it down to about five countries," Eamon told papers at the time.
Ireland has subsequently balked at officially okaying same-sex marriage but has passed the Civil Partnership Bill. Seriously, what is it with people and this hangup over the definition of marriage? Everyone needs to read the History Of Marriage where it's spelled out that the origins of marriage are financial agreements between two parties exchanging humans as goods.
