It's is Canberra’s queer pride festival celebrating diversity nad is held in October / November each year.
SpringOut builds on a long tradition of community celebration in Australia’s capital city. Come enjoy a fun filled, empowering and fabulous time during the SpringOut festival. All of the events in the SpringOut festival are undertaken by individual groups within our community, putting in lots of volunteer effort so we can have fun.

SpringOut Fairday 2010 will run from 12 noon to 5 pm on Saturday 30 October, on the lawns of Westlund House. It will be bigger than ever this year - don't miss it for anything!

October Each Year SpringOut Fairday is Canberra’s whole LGBTI community day, where the community comes out to play in the grounds of Westlund House. The annual Fairday is a marvellous day out for the whole family so bring your kids and pets. Sunshine, great food, interesting stalls, beautiful people and a relaxed atmosphere — what could be more pleasant for a Saturday afternoon in spring?
Fairday 2010 will include, drag kings and queens; performances by local artists; the Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire; and live music by Lyndell Tutty and The Adam Hole and Marji Curran Band. There will be a terrific treasure hunt for all the kids. Plus don’t forget to bring your furry friends along for the ever popular Pet Parade presented by local funny guys Morgan and Johnno. The day will also include a seminar and workshops by Scott Malcolm, financial planner, and a free yoga class by Gregory Barnes.
You’ll find SpringOut Fairday in the grounds of Westlund House, Gordon Street, Acton (near the Film and Sound Archive and opposite the Academy of Science Dome).
Canberra Bushdance
November each year at Yarralumla Woolshed 7.30pm – 1.00am Dust off your hat and polish up your boots. Bushdance is back! Join in the fun of Canberra’s biggest GLBTI event — over 600 dancers, a great band, bbq and bar in a real woolshed. It’s hot, it’s fun and you’ll get to dance with everyone.

BentFest
November to December each year. Bent Lenses is Canberra's very own Queer screen culture group, operated by and for our Community. Founded in 1999 to redress the paucity of Queer cinema offered in the Capital region.
