LGBTIQ GROUPS

The Three Sisters Social Group Inc. is based in the Blue Mountains NSW  and its membership is open to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex and queer people.
The group arranges social events in the Blue Mountains region and members and visitors of all persuasions are welcome.
We encourage an atmosphere of non-discrimination, tolerance and respect.
We support by donations to the local hospital, a HIV support group and assist with maintenance of the HIV/AIDS Memorial Park in Medlow Bath.

Examples of our current activities include:
A monthly dinner.
Summer barbecues.
Flower shows.
Annual disco during the Queens Birthday Weekend Festival.
Annual Queens Birthday Ball at the Fairmont Resort during the Queens Birthday Weekend Festival.
Recovery breakfast at the end of Queens Birthday Weekend Festival.
Australia day Barbecue.
SUMMER'S BACK ! so they say!
Wentworth Falls Lake Barbecues: Next BBQ on 27th January from 6.30pm. (Bring your own food & drink.). Everyone is welcome so please tell all your friends. It's a great way to meet people, have a barbie, have a chat .
Could be a good idea to bring fold up chairs and tables just in case.

OPEN DOOR

The Open Door is a Christian based support group for the GLBT community in
Penrith and the Blue mountains.  People from a variety of backgrounds come
to the Open Door. We follow a simple format of coffee n chat, discussion,
reflection and prayer time.  Everyone is welcome at the Open Door.

Exclusive WOMEN'S GROUPS
GAP SOCIAL GROUP FOR WOMEN
GAP was started because there was no lesbian social group in the Blue Mountains that catered specifically for the 25 to 40 age group. GAP organises casual get togethers for younger queer women in the Mountains, with the aim of expanding the local queer community.

We meet up every few weeks, usually on weekends. Events are quite casual – coffee, drinks, ect. If anyone has a particular event they would like to help organise then email Kate. Or if anyone is going to a queer-related event and they want more people to go with, then you are welcome to send an email to the group.

Who can join: Queer, Lesbian, Bi, Trans, ect ect. All welcome. The group is aimed at 25 to 40 year old women, but women outside that age bracket are very welcome to attend our events and meet some new people.Women can bring their children along to events.Visitors to the Blue Mountains welcome.There is no cost to join.

BUSH LEMONS
Bush Lemons is a group of lesbians who enjoy bushwalking and other outdoor activities. It is a condition of participating in any Bush Lemons bush walks that you read the BushWalking Code.

Movies With A Bite
Movie and dinner night for single lesbians. This is not a dating group, just a night for singles to meet and mix with other singles in a safe, friendly, way. The movie (and therefore the time) will be decided closer to the time by
those booked in. If there is nothing on we will meet for a DVD and dinner at someone's house.
