The gay vacation calendar for 2011 is filling up with a combination of new and well established destinations offering gay travellers the chance to escape the daily grind and enjoy beaches, dance parties, restaurants, culture, and make new friends.

Sydney Mardi Gras – Australia (26th February till the 7th of March)
The City of Sydney will play host to thousands of international visitors during the Mardi Gras Festival. All will enjoy the variety of cultural, political, party and social events that take place. The Mardi Gras Parade and Party return to the same night this year making March the 5th 2011 one of the biggest dates in the international gay calendar.

Life Ball Vienna – Austria (19th till the 22nd of May)
Life Ball is one of the world's most unique events; where else can you get dressed up in couture costumes, mingle with mega stars, dance all night long, watch a top fashion show, and raise money for AIDS charities all at the same time? In 2011 you have the opportunity to join the likes of Sharon Stone, Bill Clinton, Heidi Klum, Liz Hurley and Whoopi Goldberg and take part in Europe's most extravagant Ball.

Barcelona’s Circuit Festival - Spain (7th till the 14th of August)
Established only 3 years ago Barcelona’s circuit festival has become one of Europe’s biggest events with thousands of gay men flocking to the city to be part of the festival that includes water park parties, beach parties, and major international performances. Barcelona is regarded as one of the world’s most gay friendly cities... it certainly proves it reputation during this festival.

Fire Island’s Ascension Party – New York, USA (18th till the 25th of August)
Fire Island has long been established as New York’s “gay summer wonderland”, and in recent years the island has had an influx of international visitors keen to spend time in this truly unique island almost exclusively populated by gay men during the summer months. The Island’s busiest time is their “Ascension Week” when a combination of international performers, head-line DJs, New Yorkers, and overseas visitors head to the Island.
