Of an Age showing at the NFSA Canberra

It doesn’t feel like a “gay romance”, but simply a romance featuring gay people, and that makes all the difference
 |  FUSE  |  Canberra
Set in 1999 'Of an Age' is a beguiling and disarming gay Australian love story by director Goran Stolevski. It's showing at The Film and Sound Archive Canberra Friday 14 April 2023.

When Serbian immigrant Kol (Elias Anton) receives a call from his best friend and ballroom dancing partner Ebony (Hattie Hook), he is tasked with finding her older brother Adam (Thom Green) to come and pick her up from the middle of nowhere.

Finding themselves drawn to each other, the closeted Kol and more worldly Adam develop an intense romance, even though both know that their time together is limited, and each moment brings them closer to having to potentially part forever.

Following the screening, actors Thom Green, Hattie Hook and Elias Anton will join us for a Q&A session.
