- This years theme is Pride In Culture, and holds the goal of raising enough funds to open and operate the BlaQ Pride in Culture Hub. The Hub will exist to:
- foster community connection and support
- provide a digital resource hub and computer access
- connect queer mob to services in a safe and affirming space
- give access to training and meeting rooms
- create space for healing and wellness activities
- BlaQ sees many opportunities for running programs and activities at the Hub, including community consultations, a gender affirming clothing swap, entertainment programs and more. We hope the Pride in Culture Hub will become a safe space for all community to drop in as needed and are striving to make the Hub a place our mob can feel comfortable being their most authentic and genuine selves.Community told us what they wanted, and we’re creating the Hub to meet a genuine need.
