Dear Joey, Often country and city folk hold very different views on things. If you are worried that your family may act insensitively, I suggest you talk to them first — this will give you a good indication of how they may behave when you bring your BF home to meet them.
Hopefully, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Also, give your man the heads up so he knows what lies ahead. I think it’s also important to note that it’s OK if your partner does not want to proceed if he feels things may not go well.
Good Luck and practice self-care. Love Rose.
