From BTS to aespa, Squid Game to Parasite. Glass skin to bibimbap. Hallyu has us obsessed – let’s dive deep into why as we step into a world of Hallyu at the National Museum of Australia. From K-pop and K-drama to fashion and beauty, discover how South Korea’s creativity has captured imaginations across the globe.

Explore more than 200 objects including glittering K-pop idol costumes, film props, interactive dance displays and stories of fandoms that reveal how a local cultural movement grew into a worldwide phenomenon.

Exhibition includes some restricted content and mature themes. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the exhibition as it includes some mature themes and imagery classified M and MA15+, not suitable for younger audiences. One curtained section of the exhibition screens content from a film rated R18+.
