Laughs are set to shake the capital this autumn as the 2026 Canberra Comedy Festival returns with a massive line-up of local legends and big-name favourites.
The festival runs across various venues in the city throughout March, showcasing stand-up, sketch comedy, improv, and more in Canberra’s theatres, bars, and late-night spots. Attendees can expect sharp political satire, delightfully eccentric storytelling, and a welcoming atmosphere for the queer community.
LGBTIQA+ performers include Geraldine Hickey, Kirsty Webeck, Tom Ballard, Lou Wall, Dylan Holmes, Anneli Cole, and Caitlin Maggs.
